John Kim

John Kim   -   Head Instructor

Mr. John Kim started teaching as an assistant to his father, Grandmaster Kim, at the age of thirteen in 1993.

Mr. John Kim represented the United States twice as a member of the US National Taekwondo team.

Mr. John Kim is a certified coach with USATaekwondo.

Tom Sather

Tom Sather   -   Sam Dan 삼단

Tom Sather earned his first degree black belt in 1989 at the Fairview Park Dojang.

He was honored to serve as an assistant Taekwondo instructor to the late Grand Master Kim who also instructed him in Hapkido.

Now a third degree black belt in Taekwondo, Mr. Sather has been most satisfied to see those students who began training as children earn their black belt and become outstanding young adults.

A graphic artist for 38 years, Mr. Sather is married with three children and six grandchildren.

Joe Collura

Joe Collura   -   E Dan 이단

Joe began training in Tae Kwon Do at our Case Western Reserve University affiliate club in January of 1996. During his final years at Case, Joe also trained in Judo and Hap Ki Do directly under Grandmaster Myung Juan (John) H. Kim and was among the last students to earn rank directly from Grandmaster Kim. Shortly after graduation Joe earned his Cho Dan, 1st Degree Black Belt, in Tae Kwon Do and has since continued training in Fairview Park where he earned his current rank of E Dan.

Samuel Keller

Samuel Keller   -   Cho Dan 초단

Sam began training in martial arts in 1989 at our North Ridgeville location.  He studied Taekwondo, Hapkido and Judo directly from Grandmaster Kim.  He earned his Cho Dan (1st degree black belt) in Taekwondo from Grandmaster Myung H. Kim in 1993 with instruction from Master Joseph E. Kim.

Sam also competed in Olympic style Taekwondo and was coached by Mr. Joseph E. Kim.  He is a 3 time Junior State Champion, a 3 time Senior State Champion, a 1 time Junior Olympic Champion, won or medaled in other countless tournaments and competed in several National and International events.
